Join Scott Lewis and Cindy Giardina, ADHD coaches, as we read a different helpful book about Adult ADHD each month. We will discuss the reading and how it helps and supports you as an Adult with ADHD. This program will help you follow through with your reading, while deepening your understanding of ADHD.
Just like in-person book clubs, our "book club" Telephone calls are interactive. We open up the conversation for YOU to learn from each other's experiences and have your questions answered by an ADHD expert and your peers. While discussing the reading, Cindy and Scott will share simple and effective strategies for living with ADHD.
Q. I have ADHD! What happens if I forget to do the readings?
A. We encourage ADD Book Club members to keep up with the reading each week. We do understand that our members have ADHD and sometimes completing the suggested readings can be challenging. We want members to come to the live calls even if they haven’t completed the readings.
Q. How much does the ADD Book Club cost?
A. The regular cost of the ADD Book Club is $47 per month. The ADD Book Club is currently running a Special and new members can sign up and lock into the rate of only $27 per month.
Q. When does the ADD Book Club meet?
A. The ADD Book Club meets over the telephone on Mondays at 9:00 pm Eastern. There's also an optional Thursday evening organizing peer support group at 8:00 pm eastern.
Q. I think the ADD Book Club should be free why should I pay $27 per month?
A. The ADD Book Club is more than just a regular book club. The ADD Book Club offers its members structure, support, education, coaching, and convenience. Between coffee, food, transportation and other expenses most free in-person weekly book clubs usualy end up costing members more than $7 per week. ADD Book Club members really get a lot for $27 per month!
Q. I'm not sure if I can make the live calls at 9:00 pm EST every Monday. Can I still participate and benefit from the ADD Book Club?
A. Yes you can! The ADD Book Club calls are recorded and the members can listen to them later. Even if members miss a live call they can still interact with with other members and the coaches in the ADD Book Club Forum.
Q. I have ADHD and really hate to read! Why should I join the ADD Book Club?
A. We understand that many adults with ADHD were expected to read books in ways that didn't work for them. The ADD Book Club offers tips and suggestion for ADHD-Friendly reading. We also choose books that have an ADHD-Friendly set up too!
Q. I really want to join the ADD Book Club but I don't have a Credit Card or Debit Card. What can I do?
A. We understand that many adults with ADHD have financial problems and are not able to use credit cards. We are not able to accept checks but using a prepaid credit card is a great alternative. Visa Gift Cards can be purchased at banks, credit unions, and stores like Wal-mart and CVS.
